This little bundle was born at Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, BC. She weighed 5lbs 12oz and had to face a challenge as soon as she was born. Little Rowyn was born with a physical problem called Gastroschisis. Her intestines were on the outside and her mama was induced before the due date because her intestines had started to become inflamed. Surgery corrected this issue and she rocked the procedure and was discharged in 4 weeks from the hospital. She’s 6 weeks old at her newborn session with Glow Portraits. LOVE!
I met this gorgeous expecting mama a few years ago when I did her maternity session for her first baby as well as her daughter’s newborn session. Now 4 years later she’s expecting baby #2 and looks just as amazing as she did the first time. You’re a stunning woman Melinda, xo!
